DriveAll lessons are usually 2 hours, unless you arrange otherwise with your instructor. This provides you with the maximum possible time behind the wheel, and should be more productive to you, enabling you to reach test-standard sooner.
You will receive one-to-one tuition with no other people in the car unless you so wish.
We have a number of courses and schemes which are tailored to the specific needs of individuals, such as:
- Total beginners
- People who need to refresh their skills
- Newly passed drivers doing the Pass Plus course (see “Pass Plus”, left)
- Foreign licence holders who need to adapt to driving on the left-hand side of the road
- Automatic licence holders wishing to learn to use gears
Eco-safe and defensive driving is a part of all programmes. Eco-safe means that you will learn to save fuel, and lower your vehicle emissions, whilst driving safely.
Defensive driving means learning to avoid danger by forward thinking and safe driving practice.
We can accomodate people with disability, providing the disability does not require the use of a specially adapted car - unless the learner has such a vehicle and wishes to use it for lessons. We can also accomodate people with hearing difficulties.
By arrangement, lessons can be given in your own car, providing it is suitable (see FAQ).
We promote a relaxed atmosphere during tuition as learning to drive is can be a stressful-enough experience for some, without tension between learner and instructor.
Prices start at £18 per hour, depending on the course you want to take. (see FAQ, left).
